Regina “Town Square” Concept Moving Ahead
On January 17, 2008, the Mayor of Regina announced funding for the WOW Project. As part of a larger master planning process for Downtown Regina, the WOW Project transforms the traditional use and function of Victoria Park, the jewel of all parks in Downtown Regina, as a vibrant and functional town square through a redesign of the public realm which surrounds it.
