The 2500 Bloor Street West Working Group was established to facilitate an ongoing, productive dialogue between the local community and Tridel, which began prior to the submission of applications related to the redevelopment of 2500 Bloor Street West in Toronto. One of the goals of the working group was to open a key line of communication, ensuring that Tridel had a full understanding of community concerns and interests, and that the community clearly understood Tridel's intentions and track record.
Through a series of meetings organized and facilitated by Office for Urbanism, the Working Group collaborated with Tridel to develop principles that would inform the preparation of plans for the 2500 Bloor Street West site. Subsequently, Office for Urbanism generated 3-D computer models, renderings, massing models and visualizations of development options for the site.
