Franklin Yard Development Concept
Office for Urbanism was engaged to develop the second phase of a neighbourhood concept for Franklin Yard. Concentrating on mechanisms that add value to what is currently an underutilized site, the plan provides a phased urban vision able to direct investment while concurrently giving the client the tools necessary to be stewards of a multifaceted but integrated development. The illustrative concept generated in this phase provides potential investors with an illustration of Franklin Yard as a vibrant neighbourhood on the west end of Moncton, consisting of a comprehensive mixed-use environment incorporated with an extensive system of Parks and Trails. While Senior Associate at Brook McIlroy, Antonio acted as a designer for the Master Plan and Development Guidelines for earlier phases of the Franklin Yard Development.
