University of New Brunswick Campus Plan
As Senior Associates at Brook McIlroy Inc, Jennifer Keesmaat acted as a project manager for the ambitious core Campus Plan for the UNB Fredericton campus. Derived from an extensive consultation process and generated in collaboration with a Steering Committee, the plan proposes a consolidated pedestrian campus designed to build upon the existing pattern of quadrangles. The plan also includes strategies for the open space network, identification of new building sites, and architectural guidelines that reinforce the existing campus and its setting.
University of New Brunswick Implementation Strategy
Following the adoption of the Campus Master Plan, OfficeforUrbanism was retained to create principles and mechanisms for the selection of priority projects, and to assist the University in the allocation of its resources towards the implementation of the Campus Plan
Planning and Design Advisors
OfficeforUrbanism has been retained as on-going Planning and Design Advisors for the University of New Brunswick with respect to a series of specific projects. Our role includes preparing site plans, design guidelines, and working closely with the Administration to facilitate campus development.
