Yushanwan Dingshanhu Lake District
Office for Urbanism along with CXT Architects In. and NAK Design Group, were recently awarded the first prize in a competition for the development of an Urban Design and Landscape concept for the Jiangyin New Recreational-High End Lake district — Yushanwan Dingshanhu Lake District — southeast of Jiangsu Province, China.
The 195 hectares district is identified as a modern new urban area where the ecological sensitivity of the landscaped is maintained in balance with residential areas, recreational function, and a Central Business District, through an emphasis on sustainable practices and a pedagogical approach to design.
